ARCS (ADHD and Related Conditions Support) - are a small charity based in Lambeth, South London, founded by parents and supported by local professional network.

Our mission is to engage, equip and enlighten parents, carers, children and young people and professionals affected by ADHD and other neurological conditions.

Founded in Lambeth, South London, ARCS aims to address the numerous unmet needs of families affected by ADHD and related conditions.

ARCS' remit is to establish and co-ordinate a multi-agency hub of professionals - linking all the relevant stakeholders to ensure a seamless, effective service to support children, young people and families affected by ADHD and other hidden disabilities.

ARCS works closely in partnership with the Lambeth ADHD Strategy Group and other professional organisations to:

  • Promote awareness raising and co-ordinate training for professionals working with children and young people
  • Support schools and other professional services working with families affected by ADHD
  • Develop and host information and awareness training for parents and young people
  • Provide support for families, their children and young people with ADHD
  • Fund and run parent support drop-in sessions in the community
  • Signpost of parents and professionals to relevant services and resources

ARCS has a significant presence on the Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) Review Strategy Forums in Lambeth.

Through it's networking and positioning with the Youth Offending Service, police, youth services, SENCO Network, Divert Youth, Governor's Forum, CAMHS, Community Paediatrics, the Parents' ADHD Support Group and young peoples’ forums, the Parents and Carers’ Forum and, recently, the Elmgreen secondary school, it is bringing together relevant teams, strategy groups and organisations to ensure a comprehensive multi-agency ADHD/ASD offer.
